Responsibilities
- Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
- Monitor production to resolve issues
- Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (QC, workers, etc.)
- Determine quantity of resources required (labor, raw materials, etc.)
- Approve maintenance work, equipment purchases, etc.
- Ensure output meets quality standards
- Implement health and safety precautions
- Report to upper management
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- Experience in production or engineering processes
- Strong knowledge of production management
- Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Understanding of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
- Experience in reporting key production metrics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Detail-oriented
- Strong decision-making skills and results-oriented approach
