Details of the NNPC Renaissance JV Scholarship 2025

The Renaissance African Energy Company (Renaissance), operator of the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture (Renaissance JV), invites applications from suitably qualified Nigerian students to apply for the NNPC-RENAISSANCE JV University Scholarship.

The NNPC RENAISSANCE JV Scholarship aims to promote academic excellence and improve the skills of young Nigerians. It provides a yearly grant to successful applicants for the duration of their undergraduate degree programme.

The NNPC-RENAISSANCE JV University Scholarship is in two categories – the National Merit Award (NM) and the Areas of Operation Merit Award.

National Merit Award (NM) – Open to all Nigerians
Areas of Operation Merit Award – Open to Nigerians who are indigenes of Renaissance’s operational areas in Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers.

Eligibility Requirements for NNPC-RENAISSANCE JV University Scholarship

To be considered for the NNPC-RENAISSANCE JV University Scholarship, you must:

Must be citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Must be registered FULL-TIME undergraduates in an accredited University in Nigeria.
Must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship from an entity operating in the Oil and Gas Industry, national or international.
Evidence of being in 200 Level, with proof of admission into an undergraduate programme in the 2023/2024 academic session

Selected candidates of the NNPC Renaissance JV Scholarship will receive a sum of ₦200,000 per year till graduation.

To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;

Passport photograph with white background not more than 3 months old (450px by 450px).
School ID card
University or JAMB (UTME or D/E) Admission letter
JAMB Result
2023/2024 Transcript (100 level Result)
Letter of Identification from State (Showing Local Government of Origin).
Applicants for the Operational Area Awards are required to provide scanned copies of letters of identification (which must be duly stamped and signed) by:
- The Paramount Ruler of the Community, and
- The Chairperson of the Community Development Committee or Community Executive Council (CDC or CEC)

Note:

Each document attachment to the application must not exceed 200KB, and the image format must be in JPEG
