Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and report issues.
- Carryout repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems as instructed.
- Assist in the implementation of preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and emergency repair requests.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
- Assist in coordinating access and logistics for external vendors or contractors performing maintenance services.
- Monitor stock levels of tools and supplies and report replenishment needs to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of common areas, equipment rooms, and utility spaces.
- Provide support for facility improvements and assist other departments with maintenance-related needs.
- Escalate complex maintenance issues to the supervisor for further action.
- Assist in setting up furniture, fixtures, or equipment as needed for school events or operational requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in facility or equipment maintenance.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Basic understanding of safety standards and procedures related to maintenance work.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in the use of basic maintenance tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems is an advantage.
