KATSINA, NIGERIA – June 8, 2025 – In a significant step towards transparency, accountability, and youth empowerment, the Katsina Local Government (LGC) has officially launched a Free Solar Installation Training Program for residents of the local government area.

This initiative marks a noteworthy commitment to community development, demonstrating proactive investment in skills training and sustainable energy solutions. The program aims to equip young people with practical, in-demand skills in solar technology, fostering employment opportunities and supporting broader sustainable energy goals within the region.
