Job Brief:
We are looking for a diligent Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies and security threats.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, vandalism, or other security threats.
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises.
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents promptly and appropriately.
- Conduct security checks and inspections of designated areas.
- Maintain accurate records of security-related activities, incidents, and observations.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms systems.
- Provide assistance and support to employees and visitors as needed.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services as required.
- Report any security breaches, safety hazards, or suspicious activities to management.
- Follow security protocols, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security is a plus.
- Proven experience as a security officer or related role.
