Summary
- This role involves leading and optimizing the company’s operational strategies, ensuring efficient and compliant processes, and managing cross-functional teams.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in merchant lending operations, process optimization, and risk management, with experience in merchant loan processing, team leadership, and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end merchant loan operations, from application to disbursement and repayment.
- Develop and refine operational workflows for speed and accuracy.
- Monitor loan performance and flag risk or irregularities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Risk, Tech) to ensure process alignment.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and develop a small team, driving high performance and accountability.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience, specifically managing large-ticket merchant loans (billions of Naira).
- Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, financial modeling, and loan structuring.
- Excellent understanding of Nigerian financial regulations and lending standards.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
