About the Role
Our client, a growing auto garage in Lagos known for quality repairs, customizations, and diagnostics is hiring a versatile Admin & Hiring Manager to support daily operations and lead recruitment when needed. This is a key role for someone who can keep the office running smoothly while managing the hiring process for technicians, admin staff, and support workers as the need arises.
Location: Abraham Adesanya, Lekki
Key Responsibilities
Admin & Operations Support
- Coordinate day-to-day office tasks and workshop logistics
- Handle staff attendance, rosters, and leave tracking
- Maintain staff records (CVs, guarantors, ID, contracts)
- Follow up on tasks from workshop manager/owner
- Monitor inventory sheets and support petty cash reconciliation
- Support client documentation, invoicing, and job records
Hiring & Recruitment
- Identify staffing gaps and hiring needs
- Create and post job descriptions
- Screen CVs and coordinate interviews
- Organize technical tests for mechanics/electricians
- Handle recruitment paperwork and onboarding
- Maintain an internal database of qualified candidates
- Conduct 2-week and 30-day staff reviews with management
Requirements
- OND/HND/BSc in Business Admin, HR, or related field
- 2+ years’ experience in admin, HR, or workshop operations
- Good spoken and written English
- Experience hiring blue-collar workers is a strong plus
- Familiar with Excel or Google Sheets
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Must live within reasonable distance to workshop location at Abraham Adesanya
