Job Overview
We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Training & eLearning Content Developer to design and develop learning programs, micro-courses, and workshops and deliver engaging digital learning experiences that support our customer growth, onboarding, compliance, or product knowledge. You’ll be responsible for creating instructional content, interactive modules, and self-paced training that enhances knowledge retention and aligns with organizational goals.
This role blends instructional design, product thinking, and digital content creation to build training experiences that are engaging, professional, and scalable. If you have a passion for turning complex topics into compelling, accessible content — this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Course & Content Development
- Design interactive, self-paced eLearning courses and blended learning programs for external clients.
- Translate subject matter expertise into structured learning journeys using instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom’s).
- Develop training materials including course outlines, modules, scripts, quizzes, and assessments.
- Build content using authoring tools like Articulate Rise/Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or equivalent.
- Ensure all content aligns with learning objectives, brand tone, and accessibility standards.
Learning Productization
- Work closely with product managers and marketing to shape the structure, naming, and packaging of training offerings.
- Adapt content for different audiences, industries, or delivery formats (mobile, desktop, live cohorts).
- Integrate courses into an LMS or learning platform (SCORM/xAPI compliance).
Content Design & Multimedia
- Develop visual assets, motion graphics, or learning videos in collaboration with designers or independently using tools like Canva, Camtasia, or Adobe Suite.
- Script and storyboard video modules and animations for asynchronous delivery.
Feedback & Improvement
- Monitor learner engagement and satisfaction.
- Iterate content based on client feedback, learner performance data, and product analytics.
- Maintain version control and continuously update the course catalog.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a training, facilitation, or instructional role.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
- Proficiency with presentation tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze data and adjust training strategies accordingly.
- Experience with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate, Adobe Captivate, etc.).
- Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., CPTM, ATD, CIPD).
- Familiarity with performance consulting or coaching models.
