Christy VanRooyen of Oregon Institute of Technology is seeking a Masters student interested in pollinator ecology.
The student will be examining how pollinator diversity, abundance, and floral resource use change in response to wetland restorations.
In collaboration with partner agencies and private landowners, he will monitor pollinator diversity and floral resource use as outlined in the National Protocol Framework for The Inventory and Monitoring of Bees and the Integrated Monarch Monitoring Program.
This research will enable effective land management practices from various restoration choices faced by land management agencies in the eastern Cascade ecoregion.
