We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Clinician – Mobile Clinic (Roster) Location: Katsina ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the medical doctor (team lead), the Clinician will be responsible for the following main activities in order to ensure the quality of care in the mobile clinics: Provision of free of charge curative health consultationsCollection, computerization and analysis of weekly epidemiological dataReporting and attendance to different meetings.Tasks DescriptionProvision of free of charge curative health consultations Prepare all the necessary drugs, material and equipment for mobile clinics and ensure that everything is ready before to leave MdM officeFollow the basic medical rules of hygiene when performing curative health consultationsParticipate actively in triage activities before to start curative health consultationsPerform curative consultationsTake a proper medical history including:Reason for consultationDuration of the illness or complaintsMain symptomsPast medical history and treatment.Perform a correct physical examination:Inspection, auscultation, percussion, palpationSystematic checking of signs of severityExplain the treatment to the patientGive individual health education related to the patient’s diseaseDiagnose and treat the diseases according to protocols in use (i.e. clinical guidelines)Write the most important complaints, signs, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment on the patient’s registration form.Manage emergency cases according to MdM protocols and regulationFill in the registration form for each patient, according to the diagnosis of the morbidity surveillance formCheck the immunization status for all EPI targeted children and referred the unvaccinated children to the vaccinatorInvestigate any information regarding unusual health events or diseases outbreak, provided through any sourceEnsure patient confidentiality is respected and treat all the patients with respect and dignity.Admission, weekly medical follow-up and discharge of the malnourished children in OTP program Ensure that all the 6-59 months children have been screened (MUAC, H/W and edemas)Admit new cases in OTP program according to the criteria of national nutrition protocol and give systematic treatment for SAM casesEnsure weekly follow up of SAM cases and adapt RUTF dosesDischarge cases according to the criteria of national nutrition protocolRefer complicated SAM cases to identified Stabilization CenterFill in the specific OTP formPerform the daily data collection regarding curative consultationsParticipate to the weekly computerization and analysis of the medical dataPrepare weekly activities report to submit to team leaderParticipate in a pro-active way to MdM internal meetings (medical, security)Participate to all the trainings organized by MDMCollection, computerization and analysis of weekly epidemiological dataReporting and attendance to different meetings.Others: Give suggestions to improve the functioning of MDM mobile clinicsParticipate to the loading and unloading of the vehicles and to the setting up of the mobile clinicsParticipate to weekly physical inventory of mobile clinic pharmacyBe flexible in performing his/her duties to ensure that beneficiaries are getting good quality servicesPerform other additional duties on request of the team leaderInform immediately the security focal point in case of any security problem in the field.Requirements Any medical certification. Nursing, Community Health, etc.At least 1-2 years of professional experience in a clinical setting, preferably in mobile clinic operations or humanitarian healthcare services.Experience in a similar position for at least 5 years. We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Short-Term Technical Assistant (STTA), Facilitation for Training of Trainers of Vocational Training Centers on Disability Inclusion Locations: Bade, Nguru and Nangere, YobeEmployment Type: Contract Program Description TCDI in collaboration with the Christian Blind Mission (CBM) International and with funding from BMZ Germany, is currently implementing a project titled “Promoting Inclusive Education and Vocational Training in Nigeria.”As part of efforts to promote inclusive and safe vocational education, TCDI, in partnership with relevant education authorities, is facilitating a Training of Trainers (ToT) session to strengthen disability inclusion in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).This initiative targets selected teachers from vocational training centers and government stakeholders to improve their knowledge and skills in inclusive education practices. The training aims to promote equitable learning opportunities for learners with disabilities and to foster a more inclusive vocational education system.The purpose of this consultancy is to engage qualified facilitators with expertise in disability inclusion to deliver five-day training for selected TVET teachers and government education officers.Facilitators will lead sessions, provide technical guidance, and mentor participants to ensure effective knowledge transfer and promote inclusive education practices.Reporting & Supervision: The facilitator will report to the TCDI Program officer and coordinate closely with the CBM International counselor to ensure smooth delivery of the training.Scope of Work & Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Facilitator will be responsible for the following tasks: Develop and finalize a comprehensive training agenda and session plans in consultation with TCDI.Design and deliver training content on: Principles of disability inclusionBarriers to learning for persons with disabilitiesAccessibility and reasonable accommodationInclusive teaching and learning strategies tailored to diverse learnersDisability awareness and attitudinal changeDigital competence and use of accessible teaching and learning materialsIdentification of learners with special needsCurriculum modification and inclusive classroom managementUtilize participatory training methodologies including lectures, case studies, group work, and role-play.Coordinate with a CBM counsellor to provide online support during the training.Facilitate reflection sessions to reinforce learning and application.Support participants to develop individual action plans for implementing inclusive practices.Submit a final training report including evaluations, recommendations, and participant feedback.Specific Deliverables:Facilitators are expected to provide the following: Share training agenda and materials (PowerPoints, handouts, guides) – before the training dateDaily facilitation of sessions during the training30th June to 4th July 2025Documentation of training activities, participant evaluations, and lessons learned.Final training report submitted within 5 days of training completion.Required Qualifications and ExperienceFacilitators must meet the following criteria: Advanced degree in Inclusive Education, Special Education, Educational Psychology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of proven experience delivering training on disability inclusion in education, particularly in TVET or similar contexts.Strong understanding of inclusive pedagogy, accessibility standards, and reasonable accommodation.Demonstrated experience using participatory and adult learning methodologies.Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to mentor and build capacity of teachers and government stakeholders.Familiarity with the local context in Yobe State or Northeast Nigeria is an added advantage.Time frame for the Training: The training sessions will take place within a five-day period in Yobe State.Facilitators must be available for planning meeting briefings, training delivery, and post-training reporting.Level of Effort and Remuneration The facilitator will be paid N50,000 daily for the number of training days after successful completion of the training and submission of all the required deliverables, including a report.The payment will be made within 2 weeks.Application Closing Date18th June, 2025.
