Job description
- We are looking to hire experienced Sales and Business Development Associates in Port Harcourt to help us build an effective sales force and drive sales performance. We require a strong ability to sell, experience in selling investment and financial products, and strong commercial acumen. Previous experience in asset management, banking, investment advisory and financial services is a plus but optional.
Objectives and Responsibilities
- Contribute to growth in assets under management every month by achieving agreed sales targets.
- Develop new leads, close existing leads and initiate partnership conversations with other companies and individuals.
- Develop sales plans and strategies, playbooks, sales presentations and materials and similar initiatives.
- Maintain and report accurate records of Leads/prospects, conversions and other sales activities.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in sales and/or business development roles.
- Excellent communication and superb sales skills.
- Strong grasp of financial and investment concepts.
- BSc or higher in Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar fields.
- Initiative, drive, entrepreneurial skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Leadership ability and people skills.
- Strong drive and relentless focus on goals.
