Marketing Officer

  • Salary Range: ₦50,000 – ₦100,000/month

WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively generate new business leads through cold calls, referrals, digital platforms, networking events, and market research and collaborate with the Business Development unit to identify target sectors and potential clients.
  • Maintain an updated database of potential leads, including contact details and interaction history.
  • Conduct initial meetings or product presentations to assess client needs and introduce the company’s services, and submit a detailed report after each client visit, including outcomes, observations, challenges, and next steps.
  • Work closely with the Business Development Manager to refine proposals tailored to the client’s requirements and accurately document and escalate specific client needs, requests, or concerns to the Business Development team for immediate attention and solution development.
  • Ensure that all client feedback is communicated clearly and promptly to the relevant departments.
  • Track all follow-up actions and ensure timely engagement with leads and prospects.

MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Submit a detailed report after each client visit, including outcomes, observations, challenges, and next steps.
  • Measure and analyse the monthly conversion rate from leads to prospects and to actual clients.
  • Compile a monthly report summarising lead generation, follow-up activities, visit outcomes, and conversion statistics.
  • Recommend improvements or innovations based on market trends and client feedback.
  • Execute additional assignments as may be directed by senior management or as needed for departmental success.
