Role Description
- Develop and manage daily kitchen schedules, assigning tasks to staff based on skillsets and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Oversee employee performance throughout the shift, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to maintain quality standards and productivity.
- Monitor and motivate staff to achieve daily sales and production targets.
- Ensure all food preparation, cooking, and service procedures comply with industry safety regulations and company protocols.
- Train and integrate new kitchen staff, providing comprehensive instruction on food preparation techniques, equipment operation, and organization standards.
- Address employee concerns promptly and professionally, resolving conflicts in a calm and fair manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment with zero safety violations.
- Perform occasional stocking and transfer of supplies within the kitchen area
SPECIFIED SKILLS
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a kitchen shift supervisor in a fast-paced QSR kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and cooking procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and safe food handling practices.
- Proficiency in basic computer software programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods, lifting moderate weight, and working in a fast-paced environment.
