Human Resource Manager

Location: Wuse, Abuja
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will (but not limited to):
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition and onboarding across departments.
- Drive performance management, employee development, and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and travel industry regulations.
- Champion employee engagement, retention, and well-being initiatives.
- Provide HR leadership during peak travel seasons and operational shifts.
- Manage HR policy development, documentation, and process improvement.
- Oversee HR data, reporting, and systems to support strategic decision-making.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Social Sciences, or any related field.
- Minimum of 5 years HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Proven experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, or related sectors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites and other relevant software.
Required Competencies
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to align HR initiatives to business goals
- Excellent leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills
- High level of emotional intelligence and the ability to influence at all levels
- Proficiency in HR analytics, HRIS systems, and data-driven decision-making
- Deep understanding of Nigerian Labour Law, HR compliance, and regulatory issues
