Human Resource Manager

  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Qualification: BA/BSc/HND
  • Experience: 5 – 7 years
  • Location: Abuja
  • City: Wuse
  • Job Field: Human Resources / HR 
  • Salary Range: ₦200,000 – ₦300,000/month

Location: Wuse, Abuja

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will (but not limited to):

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition and onboarding across departments.
  • Drive performance management, employee development, and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and travel industry regulations.
  • Champion employee engagement, retention, and well-being initiatives.
  • Provide HR leadership during peak travel seasons and operational shifts.
  • Manage HR policy development, documentation, and process improvement.
  • Oversee HR data, reporting, and systems to support strategic decision-making.

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Social Sciences, or any related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
  • Proven experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, or related sectors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites and other relevant software.

Required Competencies

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to align HR initiatives to business goals
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills
  • High level of emotional intelligence and the ability to influence at all levels
  • Proficiency in HR analytics, HRIS systems, and data-driven decision-making
  • Deep understanding of Nigerian Labour Law, HR compliance, and regulatory issues
