Fleet Operations Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drawing up weekly/monthly operational planning schedules for the unit.
- Ensuring implementation of standard operational procedures for fleet management.
- Ensuring fleet availability to meet all requests by scheduling, forecasting and surveying current user trends.
- Ensuring use of fleet management software to monitor vehicle performance and cost.
- Monitoring and coordinating all activities of the fleet officers.
- Preparing and managing annual operations budget.
- Supervising maintenance of vehicles to reduce downtime due to repairs.
- Ensuring proper vehicle registration and documentation for all vehicles within the fleet.
- Streamlining and monitoring fuel purchase system with the use of Fuel Cards for all vehicles and drivers.
- Monitoring and ensuring fleet operations in compliance with government regulations.
- Collaborating with human resources to ensure addition of quality drivers to the fleet.
- Ensuring proper drivers management to prevent bad behavior among drivers and reduce high maintenance cost.
- Regularly monitoring fleet to avoid use of vehicles for unauthorized movements.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 4 years experience managing large fleet of vehicles and drivers.
- Bachelors Degree (or equivalent).
