Role Overview
- The Business Development Manager will drive user growth through strategic outreach, partnerships, and structured activations.
 - This individual will lead efforts to sign up users, especially salary and recurring-income earners, via office seminars, HR partnerships, and strategic retail integration.
 - You will work closely with the marketing, finance, and customer success teams to ensure pipeline conversion from awareness to wallet top-ups and active usage.
 
Key Responsibilities
Acquisition Strategy & Execution:
- Design and execute a B2B2C acquisition strategy targeting organizations, HR teams, and employee clusters.
 - Coordinate office workshops, seminars, and live sign-up events across strategic corporate locations.
 - Collaborate with the marketing team to build materials and campaigns tailored to organizational partnerships.
 - Identify and engage high-opportunity verticals (tech firms, banks, FMCGs, government contractors) for direct partnership.
 
Partnership Development:
- Establish partnerships with companies and cooperatives to onboard their staff into the Company ecosystem.
 - Develop frameworks for co-branded onboarding with the Company’s supermarket arm, offering incentives for users.
 - Work with the product team to shape onboarding flows that make sign-up and verification seamless for acquired users.
 
Growth Analytics & Feedback:
- Track conversion metrics across seminars, activations, and partnerships.
 - Provide reports on Cost-Per-Acquisition (CPA), conversion to wallet top-up, and rent goal activation rates.
 - Gather feedback from field activities to inform product positioning and partnership offerings.
 
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or user acquisition (preferably in fintech, insurtech, or credit services).
 - Strong experience working with HR teams, organizational sales, or institutional onboarding.
 - Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
 - Proven track record of hitting aggressive acquisition KPIs.
 - Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and finance teams.
 
Bonus (Nice to Have):
- Prior experience in a credit-backed or savings-led platform.
 - Network access to large employer groups, trade unions, or cooperative societies.
 - Familiarity with live activation campaigns and digital acquisition funnels.
 
Success Metrics:
- Number of organizations onboarded.
 - Number of users signed up per campaign/workshop.
 - Conversion rate from sign-up to wallet top-up.
 - % of users reaching savings targets and receiving rent support.
