Admin/CCTV Officer

ROLE SUMMARY
The Admin / CCTV Officer is responsible for all general administrative duties and CCTV monitoring/supervision. You will be responsible for ensuring availability of all security camera footages to detect and prevent vandalism, theft and other crimes.
Your day-to-day tasks will include but not limited to, maintaining equipment such as the DVR etc, storing footage, walking the premises, logging issues and reporting suspicious activity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:
- Assist in managing day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for management.
- Handle communication with vendors and service providers.
- Assist in ensuring all requisite vehicle documents are up-to-date
- Assist in ensuring timely maintenance of the Company’s vehicle
- Assist in ensuing the Driver’s log book(s) are adequately completed
- Ensure optimal functions of all Janitors
- Ensure adherence to cleaning roasters as mapped out
CCTV MONITORING:
- Monitor live CCTV feeds to ensure the safety and security of the kitchen premises.
- Review recorded footage as needed to investigate incidents or ensure compliance.
- Report any suspicious activities or security breaches to management.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement if necessary.
- Full daily supervision of a team of CCTV Operators, who operate 24 hours per day 7 days per week including
- Resolves day to day issues/queries within the CCTV Team.
- Determines staff deployment and organises staff cover due to absence and the reactive deployment of staff in relation to specific operational events.
- Assists in co-ordinating and implementing the shift plan, ensuring that adequate and appropriate cover is provided for the 24-hour service.
- Responsible for identifying and implementing changes to working practices which will enhance the control room and the service provided.
- Responsible for the CCTV service maintenance contract, determines the level of service and issues default notices as required.
- Monitors the maintenance contractor’s performance and compliance. Responsible for ensuring all cameras are operational, serviced and able to undertake all functions e.g pan, tilt and zoom etc.
- Ablilty to work in the CCTV operator role with full responsibility for how the cameras are deployed.
