Structural Design and Site Engineer

Job Summary:  

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Structural Design & Site Engineer with solid experience in residential construction, including luxury homes and multi-unit developments. This position requires expertise in creating accurate structural drawings and managing on-site execution from foundation to finishing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with concrete formwork, structural steelwork, and residential-grade structural systems. You will play a key role in translating designs into structurally sound, high-quality homes—overseeing site coordination, construction sequencing, and real-time problem-solving. Strong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and residential construction methods is essential

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Prepare detailed structural drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
  • Interpret architectural designs and translate them into structural blueprints.
  • Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other consultants to develop integrated designs.
  • Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, laborers, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of project phases.
  • Monitor project progress, prepare daily/weekly site reports,
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to verify structural integrity and compliance.
  • Provide technical guidance to field teams and resolve engineering-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, HSE standards, and regulatory requirements at all times.

Requirements & Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in structural design and site supervision.
  • Proficient in structural design software (AutoCAD, Orion, Revit, STAAD Pro, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, engineering standards, and safety practices.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Membership in a professional engineering body (COREN, NSE, etc.) is an added advantage.
