The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Lagos Section (Section 61), in partnership with FIRST Exploration & Petroleum Development Company, is pleased to announce that applications are now officially open for the 2025/2026 400 Level Undergraduate Scholarship Program.

This annual initiative supports outstanding 400-level students studying energy-related disciplines in Nigerian universities.

Through academic support and mentorship opportunities, SPE Lagos remains committed to nurturing the next generation of energy professionals.

Eligibility Requirements for Society of Petroleum Engineers Scholarship

To be considered for the Society of Petroleum Engineers Scholarship, you must:

  • be a current 400-Level student in one of the 10 SPE Lagos Student Chapter universities.
  • be enrolled in an energy-related course (e.g., Engineering, Geosciences).
