Job Summary:

The Radiographer will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and other radiographic services to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The successful candidate must ensure patient safety, maintain high-quality imaging standards, and provide compassionate care while adhering to the hospital’s protocols and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (e.g., X-rays, CT scans, fluoroscopy) as prescribed by medical professionals.
Ensure proper positioning of patients and settings of equipment to produce high-quality images.
Maintain accurate patient records, including documentation of procedures and image results.
Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols and infection control policies.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation and timely delivery of results.
Conduct routine equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance needs.
Ensure compliance with all relevant professional, ethical, and hospital standards.
Educate and prepare patients for radiographic procedures, ensuring comfort and clarity.
Participate in departmental quality assurance programs and continuous professional development.
Provide support during emergency imaging services as needed.
