Our client, a reputable company in the food manufacturing industry, is urgently seeking to hire a Logistics Officer to join their team.
Duties
- Oversee the entire supply chain process, from raw material procurement to finished goods distribution, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Monitor stock levels, track inventory movement, and implement strategies for optimal storage and utilization while minimizing waste and costs.
- Organize and manage the transportation of materials and finished goods, selecting cost-effective and reliable methods and carriers.
- Develop and implement logistics plans to meet production schedules, customer demands, and company goals.
- Analyze transportation and warehousing costs to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams (production, sales, purchasing) and external parties (carriers, vendors) to ensure seamless operations.
- Identify and resolve logistical issues promptly to avoid supply chain disruptions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND qualification.
- 3 5 years’ relevant experience
- Experience in a manufacturing company is a strong advantage
- Must reside in Benin.
Location: Benin Nigeria
Salary:* ₦120,000 and above
