Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Officer Intern to join their team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing inventory operations, maintaining accurate stock records, and supporting procurement and warehouse functions. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in inventory management and supply chain processes within a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Support in receiving, storing, and issuing materials and supplies.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Update inventory databases and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Collaborate with the procurement and finance teams to track stock usage and reorder levels.
- Assist in preparing inventory reports and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards in all inventory activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related field (recent graduate or final-year student).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic inventory management tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
