HR Generalist

Responsibilities
- Spearhead the recruitment and onboarding process, including sourcing, screening, conducting interviews, the selection process, and onboarding of new hires.
- Maintain up-to-date employee records (physical and electronic) in compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
- Support the preparation, issuance, and tracking of HR documentation (e.g., confirmation letters, promotion letters, and memos).
- Maintain and update employee records using Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) for efficient record-keeping and management.
- Assist in planning and executing staff engagement activities, celebrations, and recognition programs.
- Gather feedback from staff and support initiatives that drive employee satisfaction and retention.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs, including scheduling, attendance tracking, and post-training evaluations.
- Collect, analyze, and present HR data such as turnover rates, training hours, and engagement scores.
- Oversee attendance, payroll processing, and leave management, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, HR policies, and regulatory requirements, keeping up with HR best practices.
- Prepare periodic HR reports for management decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in the banking or fintech sector.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and Nigerian labour laws.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
