Job Summary
- We are seeking a dedicated and reliable female Housekeeper/Chef to join our household team.
- This role combines housekeeping duties with culinary responsibilities, ensuring a clean, organized home while also preparing nutritious and delicious meals for the family.
- The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and possess excellent cooking skills.
Responsibilities
Housekeeping Duties:
- Clean and maintain all areas of the home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces.
- Perform laundry duties, including washing, ironing, and folding clothes and linens.
- Organize and maintain household supplies, ensuring all areas are stocked and tidy.
- Assist in managing household schedules and appointments as needed.
- Ensure the home is secure and well-maintained at all times.
- Handle and manage any household cleaning emergencies or special requests.
Culinary Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare healthy, balanced meals according to dietary preferences and restrictions.
- Grocery shop and manage pantry inventory to ensure fresh ingredients are available.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Prepare meals for special occasions or events as needed.
- Collaborate with family members to accommodate meal preferences and dietary requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a housekeeper, cook, or in a similar role.
- Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare a variety of cuisines.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Respect for privacy and confidentiality of the household
- Optional: Certifications in culinary arts or relevant training preferred.
Working Conditions:
- May require lifting and moving household items.
- 1 weekend off in a month.
