Job Title: Finance Associate

Job Summary
- The Finance Associate will be responsible for managing daily financial operations and supporting UK-based clients, including those in the shortlet and hospitality sector.
- The role involves maintaining accurate multi-currency accounting, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with international standards.
- The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience working with international clients and financial systems.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial transactions and reconciliations across multiple currencies (GBP, USD, NGN, etc.).
- Maintain financial records and reports for UK-based and global accounts.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with global accounting standards.
- Support invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, and cashflow management for international clients.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, client requirements, and international accounting best practices.
- Work closely with internal teams and clients to resolve financial discrepancies and ensure timely reporting.
- Monitor and analyze revenue, expenses, and profitability across multiple accounts.
- Provide management with relevant financial insights and reports to support decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA is an added advantage.
- 3–5 years’ experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong understanding of multi-currency accounting and international payment systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts efficiently.
Desirables:
- Experience working with UK-based clients and familiarity with platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, and other shortlet management systems.
- Proficiency in using various software such as Hostex, Tableau, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage.
- Experience in shortlet and hospitality clients, including Airbnb and related platforms.
