About the Job
We’re looking for a hands-on, trend-aware, and visually creative person who understands the beauty/skincare space in Nigeria. Someone who can make short, compelling videos, tell visual stories, and create campaigns that make people stop scrolling.
This is a role for someone who’s both a smart creator. You’ll plan content, shoot and edit videos, write captions that pop, and track what’s working so we can do more of it. You’ll also keep your finger on the pulse of skincare conversations, influencer trends, and beauty culture in Nigeria.
You’ll be the voice, eyes, and creative brain behind our pages, turning likes into love, followers into customers, and customers into loyal Cossoup fans.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and execution of our monthly content calendar
- Conceptualize, shoot, and edit short, engaging videos for Instagram, TikTok, and more
- Write catchy captions that blend beauty expertise with cultural relevance
- Keep up with beauty trends, skincare conversations, and viral formats to spark engagement
- Propose creative campaigns, challenges, and influencer collabs
- Schedule, publish, and manage content across all social media platforms
- Respond to comments, DMs, and community conversations in a brand-consistent tone
- Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics to improve results
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media with wider campaigns
Experience/Skills Needed
- Strong interest or experience in skincare and beauty content creation
- Proven ability to grow pages and build engaged communities
- A sharp eye for visual aesthetics and what “stops the scroll”
- Experience creating and editing videos.
- Excellent content-writing skills; sharp, fun, and on-brand
- Understanding of Nigerian beauty culture, trends, and customer needs
- Comfortable being on camera for short videos/memes.
- Self-motivated, creative thinker with great attention to detail
- Experience with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X
- Ability to run digital ads is a plus.
