UNIL Summer Research Program 2026 in Switzerland (Fully Funded)

Another Fully Funded summer internship in Switzerland. Applications are now open for the UNIL Summer Research Program 2026. The UNIL Summer Program is an International Summer Internship that will take place from July 3rd to August 27th, 2026, at the University of Lausanne (UNIL). The Duration of the UNIL SUR Program is 8 weeks. Participants will work on the individual research project. During the Summer Program, participants will also take part in the social activities, including a hike in the Alps, barbecues, swimming in Lake Léman, and visiting other cities in Switzerland. The UNIL SUR 2026 is a Fully Funded Summer Exchange Program in Switzerland and is open to all Nationals. The SUR program is a life-changing experience. More details are below.

Financial Benefits of the UNIL Summer Program 2026

  • Free Accommodation
  • Living Stipend: CHF 1,500 will be provided to cover additional living expenses.
  • Travel Allowance:
    • For Europeans: Up to CHF 500
    • For non-Europeans: Up to CHF 1200.
  • Visa Assistance: The program provides support to participants who require a visa to enter Switzerland.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The UNIL Summer Program is open to students from all countries.
  • Must be an Undergraduate student.
  • The Program is open to students with a background in students in biology, medicine, or a related discipline with a strong focus on biological sciences.
  • Applicants will have completed two years of a bachelor’s degree
  • Having prior research experience is not necessary.
