MCW 2026 Young Leaders Fellowship Applications are open. The MCW Young Leaders Fellowship 2026 is a fully funded opportunity in the USA for people worldwide. The Young Leaders Fellowship is a kind of leadership opportunity open to all young people between 18 – 26 years of age. The program focuses on management skills, and leadership skills needed to address the areas of education, health, and economic security. The MCW Young Leaders Fellowship aims to achieve the purpose of Local Change through Global Exchange. It is a year-long program out of which participants will spend 10 days in New York, USA in July 2026. IELTS and TOEFL are not required. The MCW YLF is open to Bachelor, Master, and PhD students from any background. More details are below.
1 Month Virtual Assessment: The program will start with intensive community mapping and needs assessment. Young leaders will be provided with tools and knowledge to asses their community.
In-Person in the USA (10 days): Young Leaders will travel to the United States in July 2026 for 10 days. Participants will come to the fellowship with an issue in the community they want to address.
Virtual Project Implementation: After coming back from the United States participants will implement those ideas and execute them in their communities.
The 2026 Young Leaders Fellowship will take place in New York, and Burlington, Vermont, from July 21 – July 30, 2026.
Accommodations will be provided by New York University in New York and Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont.
