University Of Ottawa International English Scholarship Details:

The University of Ottawa is proud of its internationally diverse student body. International students studying in English can receive up to $70,000 in scholarships, offering a significant reduction in their tuition.

The University of Ottawa currently offers two scholarships to newly admitted students studying in undergraduate programs offered in English: the International English Admission Scholarship and the International English Academic Excellence Scholarship.

All students who are eligible for this scholarship will automatically receive it upon enrolment. It will be applied directly to their tuition fees.

University Of Ottawa International English Scholarship Requirements:

All eligible students are considered for the University Of Ottawa Entrance and Excellence Scholarship award and will be notified at the time of their admission.

The applicant must:

1. Be an international student with a valid study permit.
2. Be newly admitted for the Winter 2026 term or later in an approved English-language undergraduate program in one of the following faculties: Arts, Engineering, Health Sciences, Science, Social Sciences or the Telfer School of Management.
3. Have a minimum admission average of 80%.
4. Not enrol in the French immersion stream.
5. Be enrolled full-time. 

University Of Ottawa Undergraduate Scholarship Duration and Reward

The entrance and excellence scholarship will provide incoming students with a four-year scholarship worth up to $70,000 to cover the partial cost of their university tuition.

All amounts are in Canadian dollars. These scholarships may be renewed for up to 12 terms.
