Job Summary:

The Income Auditor is responsible for verifying and auditing all revenue transactions, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. The role helps safeguard the company’s income and provides reliable financial data for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and audit all revenue postings from departments (e.g., Front Office, F&B, Banquets) for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure daily revenue reports are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Verify all voids, discounts, rebates, and adjustments for proper authorization and documentation.
  • Reconcile point-of-sale (POS) and property management system (PMS) reports with financial records.
  • Investigate discrepancies and report irregularities to the Finance Manager.
  • Prepare and circulate the Daily Revenue Report to management.
  • Ensure all cash and credit card transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
  • Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of financial records and company information.
  • Support internal and external audits as needed.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in income auditing or general accounting (preferably in hospitality).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of hotel systems (Opera, Micros, etc.) is an advantage.
  • High level of integrity and accountability.
