HotelMoney, the leading platform empowering African hotels to increase visibility and grow bookings, is seeking a talented and passionate Communications & Social Media Manager to join our team. This is a remote opportunity based in Africa, with preference for candidates located in Nigeria or Kenya.
Are you a master of words, social media savvy, and passionate about crafting compelling brand stories? If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you to take charge of our communications strategy, lead social media engagement, and shape how the world experiences our brand online.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage internal and external communication strategies.
• Lead the management of our social media accounts across various platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, etc.).
• Craft engaging content, including newsletters, press releases, blog posts, and more.
• Track engagement metrics, analyze performance data, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to create fresh and visually appealing content.
• Engage with our online community by responding to direct messages, comments, and fostering active participation.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in communications or social media management.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills.
• Proficiency in using social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Meta Business Suite.
• Creative and proactive mindset with a passion for innovation.
• Bonus: Graphic or video editing skills.
• Bonus: Experience in the hospitality or travel industry.
