The European Union and the Ministry of Education, Research, Development, and Youth of the Republic of Slovakia have jointly launched applications for the 2026 Slovakia Scholarships for Talented Students.

Eligibility Requirements for Slovakia Government Scholarship 2026
To be considered for the Slovakia Government Scholarships, you must:
- Be international students from all countries
- No permanent or temporary residence in Slovakia since Jan 1, 2020 (exceptions apply)
- Must not have studied at a Slovak HEI or secondary school (exceptions for Erasmus+ or Slovaks abroad)
- Must have completed secondary education (for bachelor’s) or hold a bachelor’s degree (for master’s)
- Must apply to a full-time, in-person program at a Slovak public HEI
- Must provide SAT score of at least 1100
- No age limit (those under 18 require guardian consent)
