The GREEN STEM Scholarship offers full scholarships that cover applicants’ tuition, travel, and visa costs, as well as a €28,840 stipend per year.

European Union GREEN STEM Scholarship Details:
GREEN-STEM prepares for a Higher Education, Research and Innovation space in Africa to multiply and enrich national capacities.
The program grantees, students, and staff will constitute a pool of multi-cultural and entrepreneurial young talents who will serve societal needs and challenges.
GREEN STEM scholarships will empower up to 92 young talents, students and staff to experience an intra-Africa mobility in the partner institution from short to long term
SCHOLARSHIPS are only available when the HOST university (where you will study) is different from the HOME university (where you are studying or you have studied).
Requirements for European Union GREEN STEM Scholarship 2025
To be considered for the European Union GREEN STEM Scholarship, you must:
- Be a woman of African nationality and resident in an African country
- Be registered/admitted in/have obtained a degree from one of the partner universities or another University that is not participating as a partner but is established in Africa.
- Women with specific needs or assistance are welcome and will be supported during their mobility.
Benefits of European Union GREEN STEM Scholarship 2025
- Monthly allowance: 890€ for Masters, 1230€ for doctoral, and 2370€ for Staff Exchange.
- Application fees, visa and insurance contribution
- Tuition fees are waived for the grantees
- People in disability are welcome and will be specifically supported during their mobility
