DELIVERABLE
Comprehensive Design with model and detailed drawing for a centrifugal compressor that meets the following requirements:
- Flow rate 5.5 kg/s
- Pressure ratio 5.5: 1
- Working fluid is air
- Compressor discharge must be in axial direction (in axial direction, not tangential but axial)
- Provide guidance or answer inquiries from manufacturer designated to produce/make the compressor.
- Have access to own 3D CAD software (any capable 3D software maybe utilized).
BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS
Mechanical Engineer with:
- Experience in product design and development related to mechanical discipline especially centrifugal compressors.
- Experience with design of centrifugal compressors.
- Experience with structural and thermal analysis using FEA.
- Experience with material selection, design procedures, and design for manufacturing and assembly methods.
- Experience with material selection, design procedures, and design. Proficient in 3D CAD.
