Behaviour Therapist

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and collect data on client behaviour.
- Develop and implement individualized behaviour intervention plans (BIPs).
- Use Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviours.
- Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with other professionals (e.g., speech therapists, occupational therapists) and caregivers.
- Provide training and support to parents and educators.
- Maintain accurate session notes, reports, and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Behavioural Science, or a science related field.
- Certification in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) or experience working under a certified Behaviour Analyst (preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with children with autism or developmental disorders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in child development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with data collection and ABA software tools.
- Experience in inclusive education or therapy center settings.
- Additional training in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is a plus.
