Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, and management reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and oversee payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations for improvement.
- Leverage IT tools and cloud-based financial systems for enhanced data management and reporting efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the security and integrity of financial data stored on cloud platforms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or other cloud-based ERP systems.
- Working knowledge of IT tools and cloud computing environments as they relate to financial operations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional certifications, such as ICAN, ACCA, or their equivalent, are an added advantage.
