Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and fluent Chinese Translator to support communication between our Chinese-speaking stakeholders and the local team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating written and verbal communication accurately and efficiently, supporting meetings, documents, and day-to-day business activities.
Responsibilities
- Translate documents, emails, and business materials from Chinese to English and vice versa.
- Provide real-time verbal translation during meetings, calls, and site visits.
- Assist Chinese expatriates in communicating effectively with local staff and partners
- Support departmental heads and team leads in document interpretation and presentations.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all translated materials and sensitive company information.
- Proofread and edit translated texts for accuracy, grammar, and tone.
- Handle any additional administrative support as may be assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Language, Linguistics, or related field.
- Fluency in Mandar in Chinese and English(spoken and written).
- 1–2 years of experience as a translator or interpreter in a professional setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Prior experience working in atelecom, manufacturing, or techenvironment is an advantage
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity in handling multicultural teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
