Role Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled and trustworthy Head Accountant to lead our accounting operations. The ideal candidate must possess strong financial management skills, with a keen ability to establish controls and monitoring systems that will prevent theft and ensure accountability across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting and financial reporting activities.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Monitor cash flow, account reconciliation, payroll, vendor payments, and revenue tracking.
- Lead efforts to identify and eliminate internal theft, fraud, and wastage.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Supervise and train accounting and support staff.
- Conduct regular audits and surprise checks across operational units.
- Provide financial forecasts, budgeting, and cost analysis to management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with operations management to align financial practices with business goals.
