Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Business Banking Officers sourcing and growing SME and corporate clients.
- Drive loan portfolio growth through tailored lending solutions for traders, market associations, and SMEs.
- Cultivate strong relationships with market leaders, associations, and unions to expand market penetration.
- Monitor portfolio quality, ensure repayment discipline, and maintain credit compliance.
- Mentor, coach, and develop team members to exceed targets.
- Represent the bank in market forums and promote financial inclusion.
Requirements
- BSc / HND in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in business or SME banking with proven lending expertise.
- In-depth knowledge of Lagos Island to Yaba markets.
- Strong credit analysis, lending, and portfolio management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and achieve business growth targets.
