Job Summary
- We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our fast-paced FMCG company.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.
- The role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of cost accounting, and the ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and record all daily accounting transactions including sales, purchases, inventory, and expenses.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
- Maintain inventory accounting and ensure accurate stock valuation in coordination with warehouse and supply chain teams..
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and banks as required.
- Support internal controls, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Generate ad hoc financial reports and analysis for management decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in an accounting role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and taxation.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or industry-specific ERP systems).
- Excellent Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to a dynamic, high-volume environment.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
