Get ready to make a real difference in the fight against desertification! From September to October 2025, we’re launching a massive tree planting campaign across 11 frontline Nigerian states: Sokoto, Zamfara, Katsina, Kano, Jigawa, Bauchi, Yobe, Borno, Gombe, Kebbi, and Adamawa.

This vital initiative, organized by GECCI and YCCN in collaboration with NAGGW, GenU 9JA, and YOMA by UNICEF Nigeria, aims to:

•  Restore degraded lands and combat desertification.

•  Empower youth to become climate leaders in their communities.

•  Support Nigeria’s commitment to the Great Green Wall initiative.

•  Promote sustainable climate action and build a more resilient future.
