OIST Research Internship in Japan (Fully Funded) (Spring 2026)

Applications are now open for the OIST Research Internship in Japan for the Spring 2026 intake. OIST offers a Fully Funded Internship for International students in Japan. The minimum duration of the Internship is 3 Months, and the maximum is 6 months. Candidates from around the world are eligible to apply for the OIST Internship. The Internship is offered at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology. The Spring 2026 internship will run from 1st April 2026 to 30th September 2026. The OIST Internship is open to Enrolled Bachelors and Master’s Students or those who have graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from any University. An English Proficiency Score (IELTS/TOEFL) is not required. Interns will work under the guidance of the OIST Supervisor. Eligibility Criteria

• Students can be from any country. There is no restriction on nationality.
• No need for any IELTS or TOEFL Test.
• Applicants who are enrolled in an Undergraduate Degree program can apply.
• Applicants who are enrolled in a Graduate Degree program can apply.
• Applicants who have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree can also apply.
