Job Summary
- The Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist with dispensing medications, maintaining patient records, and performing administrative tasks.
- They play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with dispensing medications, including counting, labeling, and packaging.
- Maintain patient records and profiles.
- Process prescriptions, including data entry and verification.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking medications.
- Provide excellent customer service and answer patient questions.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing.
Requirements
- Diploma in Pharmacy Technician or equivalent with 2 – 5 years work experience
- Completion of a pharmacy technician training program
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Salary
N50,000 – N60,000 monthly.
