Travel & Visa Consultant

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Travel & Visa Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in travel planning, visa advisory, and customer service, and be confident working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Advise and assist clients with travel planning and booking of flights, accommodations, and travel insurance.
  • Handle visa and relocation applications for destinations including the USA, Canada, UK, Schengen Zone, Asia, Africa, and others.
  • Develop customised travel and study packages based on client needs and preferences.
  • Provide expert guidance on visa requirements, documentation, and interview preparation.
  • Liaise with embassies, visa application centres, airlines, and global partners to ensure smooth processing.
  • Maintain accurate records of applications, transactions, and customer communications.
  • Proactively follow up with clients and provide updates on application status.
  • Upsell additional services such as travel insurance, airport pickup, accommodation arrangements, etc.
  • Offer after-sales support and collect client feedback to improve service quality.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, International Relations, or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 1–3years experience in a travel agency or visa processing role.
  • Strong knowledge of visa application procedures for major countries (e.g., USA, Canada, UK, Schengen).
  • Familiarity with GDS booking systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) and CRM tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple applications simultaneously.
  • A passion for travel and customer satisfaction.

Nutrition officer at Jhpiego – John Hopkins University Location: Ebonyi, Kwara, Kano, Katsina and Kebbi States, Nigeria Jhpiego is seeking candidates for an upcoming project that implements and provides technical support to nutrition interventions across different health systems and disciplines in addition to communities. The project’s multi-sectoral approach draws on global nutrition experience to design, implement and evaluate programs that address the root causes of malnutrition. Committed to using a systems approach, the project strives to sustain positive outcomes by building local capacity and strengthening the enabling environment to save lives, improve health and build resilience. The overall purpose of the project in Nigeria is to provide technical support, implement innovative nutrition-specific and sensitive live saving interventions, and generate evidence to enhance nutrition programming toward achieving the overall goal of improving nutrition indices for women of reproductive age, young children and new borns. This activity will support the donor’s effort to strengthen the enabling environment for innovation, commitment, capacity strengthening, coordination, collaboration, and support for multi-sectoral nutrition policies and programs. The Nutrition Officer will oversee the daily implementation of both nutrition-sensitive and specific live saving interventions that contribute to the prevention, detection, and management of malnutrition in Ebonyi, Kwara, Kano, Katsina and Kebbi State.
