What Success Looks Like

  • Website Conversion: Achieve a 30% increase in the website conversion rate
  • Email Marketing: Implement automated email sequences to increase conversion rates by 10%
  • Return on Ad Spend: Significantly improve ROAS by 15% for existing paid acquisition channels

Key Milestones:

  • Month 3: Successfully launch first major A/B test campaign targeting specific farmer segments
  • Month 6: Achieve 20% improvement in conversion rates across key agricultural product categories
  • Month 12: Drive 150% increase in qualified farmer registrations while reducing cost-per-acquisition by 25%

Core Responsibilities:

Growth Strategy & Execution

  • Develop comprehensive growth strategies targeting Nigerian agricultural markets
  • Design and implement conversion optimization programs across digital touchpoints
  • Lead cross-channel acquisition campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook, WhatsApp, email)
  • Create farmer-centric user journeys from awareness to purchase

Data & Analytics

  • Conduct A/B and multivariate testing on landing pages, checkout flows, and campaigns
  • Analyze user behavior patterns across rural and urban agricultural segments
  • Generate actionable insights from Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, and CRM data
  • Build comprehensive growth dashboards for leadership reporting

Campaign Management

  • Execute omni-channel marketing campaigns for agricultural products and services
  • Optimize paid search, social media, and content marketing performance
  • Manage marketing automation workflows for farmer onboarding and retention
  • Coordinate with creative teams on campaign assets and messaging

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product team on user experience optimization
  • Work with Sales to align lead generation with conversion goals
  • Coordinate with Customer Success on retention and upselling strategies
  • Support Business Development with growth insights for partnerships

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience

  • 2-4 years in digital marketing, growth hacking, or performance marketing
  • Proven track record of scaling user acquisition for tech platforms or marketplaces
  • Hands-on experience with conversion rate optimization and A/B testing
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, and CRM tools

Ideal Background

  • Experience marketing to emerging market consumers, preferably in Nigeria/Africa
  • Understanding of B2B2C dynamics in agriculture, fintech, or e-commerce
  • Mobile-first marketing experience for low-bandwidth environments
  • Background in marketplace or platform growth strategies

Technical Skills

  • Expert-level Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager
  • Proficiency with A/B testing platforms (Optimizely, VWO, Unbounce)
  • Experience with marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign)
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting

  • Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical mindset
  • Can work autonomously and independently but centers team work
