Junior Petroleum Engineer vacancy in Lagos

Job Title: Junior Petroleum Engineer

Location: Lagos (Victoria Island)

Department: Engineering / Operations

Salary: 300,000 Monthly Net

Key Responsibilities:

·      Assist in planning and designing drilling, completion, and workover programs.

·      Collect, analyze, and interpret production and reservoir data to support field development strategies.

·      Monitor well performance and identify opportunities to enhance recovery and reduce operational costs.

·      Support reservoir simulations and production forecasting using industry-standard software.

·      Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geologists, drilling engineers, and field operations.

·      Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

·      Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.

·      Participate in field visits and site inspections as needed.

Requirements:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering).

·      1–3 years of relevant experience in petroleum engineering (internship or graduate trainee experience may count).

·      Basic understanding of well operations, reservoir engineering, and production optimization.

·      Familiarity with petroleum engineering software (e.g., PETREL, ECLIPSE, Prosper, Pipesim, or similar).
